Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

We want you to be satisfied with personalEverything Pro. This policy explains when and how you can request a refund, and what happens when a subscription ends. For questions not covered here, contact us at hello@personaleverything.com.

Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund if: — You request it within 7 days of your payment date, and — You have not made significant use of Pro features during that period (significant use means adding more than 5 transactions, habits, or notes that are gated behind Pro). Refunds are not available after 7 days, or for yearly subscriptions after the 7-day window has passed, regardless of usage.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund: 1. Email hello@personaleverything.com from your registered email address. 2. Include your registered email and Razorpay payment ID (found in your payment receipt under Billing & Invoices). 3. We will process eligible refunds within 5–7 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Razorpay. Processing time after we initiate the refund depends on your bank (typically 5–10 business days for cards, 1–3 for UPI).

Cancellation

personalEverything subscriptions do not auto-renew. Your Pro access remains active until the end of the period you paid for. After that, your account automatically returns to the Free tier — no action needed on your part, and no charges will occur unless you manually renew. If you want to stop using personalEverything entirely, you can delete your account from your Profile page. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data. If you have an active Pro subscription and delete your account, no refund is issued for unused time.

What Happens to Your Data When Pro Expires

When your Pro subscription expires: — Your data is not deleted. — You retain access to everything you entered. — Pro-gated features (budgets, recurring transactions, extra habits, etc.) become read-only until you renew. — If you are over Free tier limits (e.g. more than 3 categories), existing data is preserved but you cannot add more until you are within limits or renew.

GST & Receipts

All Pro subscription prices are inclusive of 18% GST (CGST 9% + SGST 9%) under SAC Code 997331 for software subscription services. A payment receipt is generated and emailed to you immediately after every successful payment. You can also download it anytime from your account under Billing & Invoices. A formal GST Tax Invoice will be issued once our GST registration is complete.
